If you have questions or need help with a nonprofit-related issue, the Regional Nonprofit Alliance can help in a variety of ways:
Online Resources:
Nonprofit Resource Center:
- Resource Library: Consult our library, search the Foundation Center’s online grant directory, or look through the most recent edition of Nonprofit Quarterly or Philanthropy Today by visiting our office on the 2nd floor of Building 21 in the Ridges Complex, Athens.
- One-on-One Help: Experienced staff can answer questions, assist with grant applications and help with navigation of the grant database. If you are outside the Athens region, we are also happy to answer questions by phone. If we can’t answer right away, we’ll research the question and send you copies of relevant articles via email attachment or mail.
- Workspace: A workspace complete with computer, printer, phone, and basic office supplies can also be used as an “office away from the office” as needed. Please call to reserve the space.
- Flexible Hours: Because our staff is sometimes out visiting nonprofits, please call in advance of your visit to make sure someone will be here. Evening hours can be scheduled to accommodate your schedule.
Capacity-Building Projects We provide several nonprofits each year with teams of OU faculty, staff and students to work for 2 – 10 months on a specific capacity-building project, such as the development of a webpage, fundraising plan or evaluation system.
Although the number of these projects we can do is limited, we encourage nonprofits interested in working with a team to download, complete and submit a Capacity Building Project form.
